Solved a complex logical problem

    of controlling an automated handling conveyor

The customer was looking for an expert to solve a complex handling problem of a conveyor serving two washing stations with multiple setup options.

 

The possibility to load two stations and a number of different products brings the complexity into the equation.

 

This was successfully solved using More machine realised with the graphical programming language in Simatic TIA portal. The functionality of each loading station was described using 193 states.

 

Using graphical programming method at this level of complexity allows faster testing and troubleshooting during commissioning and maintenance.

 

A bespoke machine manufacturer produced this equipment for their automotive customer.
